Inspired by MM, we decided to let Z have full reign of the spoon. I usually hand it to him or guide it into his mouth while he's holding it, because he usually ends up slinging food everywhere. I have to say, he did pretty well, and it's no messier than usual, being that he loves let us know that he is finished by throwing his food on the floor.
The sound effects are all him.
Yay Zayd!!! Isn't that CRAZY???!!!! I really think we would have gone for a couple more years feeding her ourselves if I hadn't seen that at daycare!! I wonder if she thought we were really silly feeding her when she knew she could do it on her own? :)
ReplyDeleteHe did really well with his spoon! Carson does the exact same thing; he gets soooo mad when you try to turn the spoon or help him in any way. Have you tried the bendable Boon utensils. Love them!
