I've been trying to decide how I was going to write about the peculiar things that Zayd seems to like, then it dawned on me, he's just a typical man. He wants me to cook, clean, and look nice. Let me explain. My child, as I have referred to in previous entries, does not sleep easily. We have now discovered the following things calm him down/make him go to sleep.
1. The stove fan. I didn't figure this one out by cooking, obviously, but my mom did.
2. The washer/dryer/vacuum cleaner. No explanation needed there.
3. The hairdryer. I discovered this one day when I decided I was tired of doing nothing to my hair.
So, in conclusion, Zayd's way of telling me he wants me to be a good little housewife is by calming down only when these common household appliances are in use. Typical...
